By now you have some input about ANACHROME color-coded 3D stereo.

  Now, let's look at the new PRISMATIC alernative.

PRISMATIC  SUPER-VIEWING GLASSES and  3D STILL or VIDEO PRODUCTION FORMAT

Please consider switching to 1280x1024 display or even bigger (if you have those modes on your monitor.) while  on his demo page. It especially works well on wide format  25 inch new style monitors.

  Many of  you can actually see these images in 3D without glasses,
if you have mastered the trick of "cross-viewing 3D".

The effect with these prismatic glasses is even better... & easy for most people, because
the built-in prisms greatly reduce converging your eyes. When you do "glassless" cross viewing, you focus at the actual distance, but at the same time
you converge (angle) your eyes to fix on a point about 7 inches in front of your nose. Not so easy and can become uncomfortable in time.
Prisma-chrome glasses move the converged view out to 12 inches, which is  about like close reading of a book. Almost anybody can do that!

It is critical to have optically flat prisms. Acrylic prisms are difficult to get flat when molded and polished. Our prisms are molded critically flat on optically flat glass
surfaces in the molds, using slow cure liquid acylic.  NO POLISHING IS NEEDED...The improved flatness is remarkable.

You will  see that this also is a ghost-free format with perfect color information  like  "naked cross-viewing", but without the major effort!
They also will permit showing images that are  wider in stereo viewing angle, as an option/ This will take advantage of HDTV
monitors and the new wide format computer monitors.

NOTE: The images are large so they may take time to down load.

Also, note that we can provide these same +.5 glasses with just the baffles, no prisms,
for people who easily cross-view, and want to screen off the extra images that are seen
at the sides. These are just $6...if that's your preference.

All previous stereo presentations have been limited by the artificial "STEREO WINDOW" convention.

These offer excellent adjustable masking and good lenses for improved clarity vrs. cross viewing with naked eyes. The distraction of extra images is
removed . You fuse the two images into a single stereo frame.
  The field expansion of PRISMA HD allows the use all of the height available  of an HD WIDE SCREEN or  new style widescreen computer monitor.   
This is both a video and still format. The video is totally FREE of annoying  layering artifacts, has no flicker, and has zero ghosting.

SINCE IT HAS ZEREO GHOSTING POTENTIAL, (being a discrete viewing format, like a handviewer,) the penetratation  & depth can be far greater!

For example , it can be 5 times greater, in range, than a good, somewhat flatened Anachrome anaglyph image.

A Vertical "Portrait  Display"... works on all conventional 4x3 screens close to full screen height, and is the "standard layout" for Prisma-Chrome 3D.

It is a fact that wider screen computer monitors are the newer standard in the retail market. This will allow wider images.

A wider "Landscape"  aspect ratio can be displayed on 16x9 HD TV or a new wide 16x10 LCD monitor and use more height and width of the screen.
PRISMA-CHROME
has the needed clarity, due to the prism quality and the slight resolution gain of the low power readers, integrated with them.

You can "PREVIEW"  the effect of side-by-side 3D  without glasses...TRY THE HAND BLOCKING TRICK!I

It is a crude, but effective way to see a single 3D image without glasses .



To help you to learn to cross-view, hold up your hand like the illustration. Block  the view of the left side image with  your left hand so that only the right
image is visible to your left eye, and the opposite with the right hand, which will block any view of the right image by the right eye, which will look at
the left image only. It is and easily learned trick. Try to lock the view into a steady gaze.  Move you hands until  you see only the fused stereo image in the center.



The prisms will make cross-viewing easy and comfortable.



These are some very nice images of contemporary bronze sculpture with lots of color and real world plastic objects mixed into the art...Lots of bright color!

Here's more: NOTE THAT THE RED PARTS HAVE ZERO COLOR DISTORTION OR WEIRD RETINAL CONFLICTS
The image has more depth  and color accuracy than would be possible with Anachrome technique.
